Executive Team

John Falb

President & Chief Executive Officer

John has been involved in CLC’s leadership since 2002. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company and is hands-on in all matters related to investment and finance strategy. John gives back to the community serving as treasurer and board member of Stop Child Predators and The Meadows School. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University, and an MBA in Finance from the University of San Diego.

Paul Wozniak

Executive Chairman

Paul has been CLC’s executive chairman since November 2008. Paul has been involved with all aspects of investment banking for both federal and private education loans, including assistance on structural, economic, tax and legislative matters. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, and an MBA from Columbia University with a concentration in Finance.

Todd Transue

Chief Financial Officer

Todd has served as Chief Financial Officer for CLC for the more than five years, overseeing the accounting, finance, and human resources functions as well as portfolio management and investment strategy. Todd holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from San Diego State University. In addition, Todd is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Jacob Boucon

Chief Operations Officer

Jacob has been with CLC for more than 15 years and serves as Chief Operations Officer, responsible for business operations and technology including Enterprise Infrastructure, Network & Information Security, Operations, Customer Service, Software Development, Project Management, Quality Assurance Testing, and Business Intelligence. He holds a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Phoenix, and an executive CIO MBA Certificate from Boston University Questrom School of Business.   Jacob gives back to the community volunteering his time to the Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas and serving as a Technology Volunteer Judge for the E-Cyber Mission Army Educational Outreach Program.

Tessie Osmena

Chief Compliance Officer

Tessie has been with CLC for more than 13 years, and currently serves as Chief Compliance Officer. She is responsible for overseeing regulatory and legal compliance as well as quality assurance for the company. With more than 25 years of experience in the education sector, Tessie is instrumental in establishing, reviewing and maintaining the company’s strict adherence to industry compliance. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Assumption College, Manila, Philippines.

Anita Thomas

Chief Marketing Officer

Anita has been with Edvisors, CLC’s subsidiary, since 2013 and serves as Chief Marketing Officer. She is responsible for revenue growth, and oversees the company’s marketing, products, and services, including public relations and community outreach. Anita is passionate about educating borrowers and giving back to the community through volunteering, scholarships and educational events. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, and an MBA in Marketing.
