Cybersecurity Intern

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to join our Network Engineering team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in a technology-diverse environment while contributing to real security operations.
RESPONSIBLITIES:

Research and analyze SIEM events, alerts, and logs.
- Assist in tuning detection rules and correction policies to improve efficiency.
- Document findings and recommend improvements to monitoring use cases.
- Support creation and maintenance of cybersecurity policy and procedures aligned with NIST CSF.
- Investigate authentication, access, and audit related issues in an Active Directory environment.
- Assist with vulnerability management efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic knowledge of SIEM platforms and log analysis.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Windows server and authentication mechanisms.
- Understanding of common attack techniques.
- Familiarity with NIST CSF and security best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Actively pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
