Cybersecurity Intern

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to join our Network Engineering team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in a technology-diverse environment while contributing to real security operations.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Research and analyze SIEM events, alerts, and logs.
Assist in tuning detection rules and correction policies to improve efficiency.
Document findings and recommend improvements to monitoring use cases.
Support creation and maintenance of cybersecurity policy and procedures aligned with NIST CSF.
Investigate authentication, access, and audit related issues in an Active Directory environment.
Assist with vulnerability management efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic knowledge of SIEM platforms and log analysis.
Understanding of Active Directory, Windows server and authentication mechanisms.
Understanding of common attack techniques.
Familiarity with NIST CSF and security best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Actively pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
